Avut PIM is developed by Norleaf AS. Our goal is to make good product information management accessible to more businesses—including those that neither need nor have the budget for a traditional enterprise PIM.
Product information often becomes difficult to manage long before a business thinks it needs a PIM system. Data ends up spread across systems and spreadsheets, information is missing or inconsistent, and different customers and sales channels have different requirements.
Avut brings this work together in one place. Businesses can structure, enrich, control, translate, and distribute product information without losing sight of its source, what has changed, and what is ready to publish.
Avut was built from the ground up with AI as part of the product workflow. AI is used to suggest and simplify—not to take control away from the people who know the products.

Founder of Avut
My name is Kjetil Sandvik, and I am the founder of Avut.
I have more than 20 years of experience in retail and logistics. I started close to the physical flow of goods and have since worked across the value chain—from warehousing, orders, and customer service to logistics, ERP, integrations, and implementation projects.
Through these roles, I have seen product data from both the operational and technical sides. I have seen how information becomes fragmented across systems and spreadsheets, how manual processes emerge, and how demanding it becomes when systems, customers, and sales channels need different parts of the same product information.
That experience is what Avut is built on. I wanted to create a PIM system that is practical to adopt, can grow with the business, and uses modern technology without making workflows more complicated than necessary.
Avut is developed independently, and as a customer you have direct contact with the person building the product. That creates a short path from questions and feedback to decisions and improvements.
I want customers to help shape Avut, not simply receive it. The small frictions they share from real product work often point directly to what we should improve next.
